The standard warranty for any new Suzuki Outboard is as follows:
- 5 Year Limited Warranty for Pleasure or Recreational non-commercial use only.
- 3 Year Limited Warranty for Rental or Boat Club as of July 1, 2024.
- 1 Year Warranty for Commercial use.
Current warranty offering expires March 31, 2026.

The Bid Assistance Program applies to non-profit organizations, which includes Federal, State, and Local Governments, hospitals, school systems, churches, universities, etc. When an authorized Dealer discounts an eligible unit to a non-profit organization, Briggs & Stratton will contribute a portion of the cost to the dealer.
REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR PROGRAM
- Copy of dealer invoice to customer.
- Unit must be warranty registered on dealer portal.
- A purchase order/letter of agreement to purchase from the non-profit entity or an IRS letter of advance ruling or letter of determination or a certificate of tax exemption.
- Non-profit bid assistance is eligible for reimbursement to the selling dealer only if the sale is in the county or adjoining counties of the selling dealer (unless otherwise agreed upon in advance in writing from the VP of sales).
- All Parts and Accessories are excluded from the Bid Assistance Program.

Suzuki Marine USA has introduced a new promotional program for its dealers to help move boaters into cleaner, more fuel-efficient 4-stroke outboards while properly recycling their old 2-strokes. Suzuki dealers can receive additional discounts that can be passed along to customers on top of a traditional engine trade. Dealers must agree to scrap or recycle the 2-stroke outboard, with the money received donated to an environmental organization of the dealers’ choice. The program applies to any brand of 2-stroke outboard traded in regardless of age or condition.
